Tutorial Supports
The EDGE is for independent study and/or tutorial assistance. Students are encouraged to use the EDGE rooms for independent study, peer tutoring, group work, drop-in tutorials, as well as regularly scheduled group tutorials.
Group Tutorials (Adult Basic Education)
Group tutorials in basic skills, math, and English are regularly scheduled throughout the program year in Yorkton and at rural campuses, as needed. Students will be asked to register in specific tutorials and to commit to a regular schedule. Ask your instructor or program counsellor if tutorials are available at your campus.
Program Specific Tutorials (Post-Secondary)
Group tutorials for post-secondary students in writing, math, accounting, and sciences are regularly scheduled throughout the year in Yorkton at the Main Campus and the Trades & Technology Centre. Contact your program coordinator or counsellor to learn when and where support tutorials are planned for your academic program.
One-to-One Tutoring (Students with Disabilities)
One-to-one tutoring is primarily designated for Adult Basic Education students with diagnosed learning disabilities.
