The Government of Saskatchewan recently announced the Re-Skill Saskatchewan Training Subsidy that will reimburse eligible private sector employers 100% of employee training costs with a minimum of $1,000 to a maximum of $5,000 per business.

Employers choose the training program and mode of delivery that will meet their needs within the following requirements:
- Must be delivered by a Saskatchewan based third party that has been in business for one year and is not affiliated with the employer;
- Must be a minimum of 8 hours in length per trainee by the same training provider and
- completed within 4 months;
- Must start within 4 months of the application date;
- Must result in a credential (record of completion, certificate, grade, etc.).

*Effective December 10, 2021, all employees, participants, and visitors must provide proof of vaccination or a valid negative COVID-19 test result. Proof of vaccination or negative test will be verified at registration.
